Jay Sexton (they/them) is an entertainment electrician and lighting designer studying theatre and mathematics at Connecticut College. They just finished an electrics apprenticeship at the The Santa Fe Opera in Santa Fe, NM.

Having pursued robotics engineering and computer science for the majority of their life, their path towards theatre has not been traditional, but they are very grateful to have ended up where they are today. They are especially interested in the more technical elements of what they do, and love to work on a challenging soldering project or a show that tells a story that you probably haven't heard before. If they aren't in a theater, Jay can be found working in the robotics lab, spending time with their friends at Washington St. Coffee House, staring at the penguins at the Mystic Aquarium, or sitting with their cat Alvin.
