Jay Sexton (they/them) is a theatremaker studying theatre and mathematics at Connecticut College. Primarily, they work in the Tri-State and New England areas as a lighting designer and electrician.

Having pursued robotics engineering for the majority of their life, their path towards theatre has not been traditional, but they are extraordinarily grateful to have ended up where they did. They are especially interested in the more technical elements of their work, and love to be a part of a show that tells a story you probably haven't heard before. More often than not, Jay can be found running from theater to theater fixing whatever broken lights, consoles, or projectors they can get their hands on.

Right now, Jay is working as an electrics technician at Maine State Music Theatre.
